Living the light life! Boplaas Moscato Light 2012

No longer does "Light" have to mean less flavoursome, with the buxom Boplaas Moscato Light 2012.

“Low-calorie”, “lean cuisine”, “Low-GI”, “Diet” and “Lite” aren’t normally words that will excite the taste buds or whet the appetite, but that’s all about to change with the release of the buxom Boplaas Moscato Light 2012. This crisp, refreshing, full flavoured off-dry white wine is both low in calories and light in alcohol – a mere 9 g/l of sugar and 9.5% alcohol - to ensure guilt-free indulgence!

The Boplaas Moscato Light is crafted from hand-harvested Muscat de Frontignan grown in the picturesque Klein Karoo hamlet of Calitzdorp – long famous for its magical fortified Muscats, delicious dried fruits and award winning wines.

The Boplaas Moscato Light’s bouquet abounds with summer fruits, lashings of citrus, mellon, jasmine and hints of spice; while the full-flavoured palate tantalizes the taste buds, crisp acidity whets the appetite and the low alcohol ensures guilt-free libation. Best served well-chilled the Boplaas Moscato Light will make a perfect aperitif and more than able accompaniment to exotic Asian cuisine.

The Boplaas Moscato Light 2012 not only being a maiden release, is also our first wine to be bottled under our new retro-inspired label designed by Fanakalo in Stellenbosch. To celebrate the first wine of the vintage and our new label the Boplaas Moscato Light 2012 will be available from our cellar door in Calitzdorp at R35 p/b.
